Last Updated: May 10, 2026
Overview
OTO stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our chairs. This Warranty Policy outlines the general warranty coverage, exclusions, and claim process for OTO ergonomic chairs and gaming chairs.
Specific warranty coverage may vary by product model. Please refer to the warranty information provided on the relevant product page, product manual, or order confirmation for the most accurate warranty terms applicable to your purchase.
Warranty Coverage
Warranty Duration
- Ergonomic Chairs: OTO offers a 3-year limited warranty for eligible ergonomic chair products.
- Gaming Chairs: OTO offers a 5-year limited warranty for eligible gaming chair products.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, as shown on your proof of purchase, order confirmation, or order number.
Extended Warranty
If an extended warranty is offered and purchased or granted for your product, the extended warranty information will be recorded in our system. Warranty coverage will be verified based on your order details and the warranty records associated with your purchase.
Coverage Scope
Under normal residential or office use, if a quality issue occurs due to non-human factors, including defects in materials or workmanship, OTO may provide repair or replacement of the defective parts at no cost, subject to warranty verification.

- Backrest structure
- Seat base structure
- Armrests
- Gas lift
- Base and casters
- Recline or tilt mechanism
- Headrest, lumbar support, or footrest components, where applicable
- Other modular components specified in the product’s individual warranty terms
For modular components that can be replaced by the customer, OTO may ship replacement parts directly to the customer and provide instructions or video guidance to assist with installation.

1. Submit a Claim
To submit a warranty claim, please contact our Customer Support team at support@otoergo.com.
Please include the following information:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- The product model
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the defect
- Your shipping address and contact information
2. Evaluation
Our team will review your claim and determine whether the issue is covered under warranty. We may request additional photos, videos, or troubleshooting information to better evaluate the issue.
The evaluation process may take up to 5 business days after all required information has been received.
3. Resolution
If your warranty claim is approved, OTO may, at its discretion:
- Provide troubleshooting assistance or repair instructions.
- Ship replacement parts at no cost.
- Repair the defective component where applicable.
- Replace the defective product or component with the same or a comparable item.
- If repair or replacement is not feasible, provide an alternative resolution based on the product condition, warranty status, and time since purchase.
4. Shipping
For approved warranty claims within the contiguous United States, OTO will generally cover the shipping costs for replacement parts or approved warranty replacements.
For claims from Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, remote areas, or other regions outside the contiguous United States, additional shipping fees may apply.
Warranty Limitations
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from OTO or authorized OTO sales channels.
- Replacement parts or products do not restart the warranty period. They are covered for the remaining duration of the original warranty period unless otherwise required by law.
- OTO is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or property damage.
- To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this limited warranty.
Product-Specific Warranty Terms
Because different OTO chair models may use different structures, materials, mechanisms, or optional features, specific warranty terms may vary by product.
In the event of any inconsistency between this general Warranty Policy and the warranty terms listed on a specific product page, product manual, or official warranty document, the product-specific warranty terms will apply.
