Brand Origin

Born in Singapore, shaped by real life.

In 1980s Singapore, long workdays and physical fatigue were simply accepted as part of everyday life.

OTO’s founder, Yip Chee Seng, saw things differently. He believed that discomfort isn’t inevitable—it’s often the result of daily habits we’ve learned to ignore.

Instead of waiting to treat pain after it appears, he asked a simple question: What if comfort could be designed into everyday life?

Prevent discomfort before it becomes part of everyday life.

That belief continues to shape everything OTO creates—combining Eastern wellness philosophy with Western ergonomic science to design comfort solutions for modern living.
